"I had the pleasure of speaking with Jesus Perez and Peter Fenerty at your dealership yesterday and was totally blown away with their professionalism, courteousness, demeanor and overall help with my questions on purchasing a bike, financing a bike and getting set up to re-obtain my motorcyle endorsement not transferred when I renewed my drivers license. I was not met with a "pushy" salesman like I expected, as Jesus was so friendly and helpful. One thing that really impressed me was the fact he showed me much less expensive cycles that would be suitable for a short lady, full well knowing that I was looking at a much bigger and more expensive bike. "Arrived at Harley Shop in the afternoon with dauhgter and grandson who live in San Antonio. This was his FIRST trip to the shop with anyone. My wife had came here last year around the same time before the baby was born. ALL of the girls in motorclothes were VERY helpful and ALL of them asked not just once but twice if we needed any help! I stop at ALL Harley shops for shirts or cup and this has got to be one of the BEST in customer service and friendliness that I have seen in a long time. I have been to some shops and NO ONE will say anything to you!! Thanks to the fine staff of Lovely ladies working the afternoon of Dec 2, 2010. "On the July 4 weekend I,along with a friend, rode down to San Antonio on our bikes from Jensen Beach Fla. We were here to atend a conference.I was having a little trouble with the bike on the trip here(I kept blowing oil caps off). I brought the the bike to Caliente H.D. and went to their service dept. After trying to fix the problem they found out that I had very little compression in rear cylinder. I had broke a couple of rings(an after market air cleaner was the problem). I was now stuck in San Antonio Tx not knowing anyone.Your service manager Raul Rodrigues took over. He told me they coud fix the problem but since it was the 4th of July weekend, getting parts would be a problem. He then gave me a loaner bike so I could attend the confrence. I had to get back to work so he went to the trouble of getting a transporter to ship the bike when finished. He also drove me to the airport so I could get home. I received the bike about a week later and it has never run so good. If it were not for men like Raul, and your service dept,my trip to San Antonio would have been a disaster.I cannot thank your dealership and Raul enough. They make me proud I ride a Harley.Thanks ever so much Steve Tsarnas"

"I just came back from Sturgis, where had broken my shield on my helmet (I dropped it). Coming back I stopped at 2 other dealerships including Rapid City S.D. and could not replace me shield on my helmet. it wasnt till I got back to San Antonio that I found one and thanks to Liz Van Ness who went all out of her way to help me out and fixed me up with all necessary screws and even took out her handy dandy screwdriver and went (I believe) above and beyond to assist. " I "ride out of" your shop due to the professionalism of your dealership. This week, I brought my bike in for handling probelms after a 1800 mile run. Some of the work was warranty related, but minor. The guys found a broken motor mount. With the pre-service inspection, it was determined that I need a new rear tire. (Extra sale for your staff.) This is very profession to look the bike over for other needed repairs.
I asked that the bike be test ridden. The test rider found the front brakes needed to be flushed. The mechanic also found a repaired a motor oil leak that hadn't been noticed before. The motor mount was repaired under warranaty. The windshield was replaced, and although it wasn't under warranty, the mechanic did the replacement without adding it to the bill. (Only four bolts, but it was appreciated) My floor rubber had broken off, and it was replaced with a "take off" at no cost. I realy appreciate the guys taking the time to go over the bike, and make sure it is safe to ride. Risks are greater for a rider, and it is great to know that your mechanic has your back. I apprecaite the little free things, and it lets me know that the dealership, just isn't about the bucks, but actually about bike enthusiam.
We live near the Hill country, and I have buddies that come down to ride the area. On two occasions, I've had buddies break down. On both occasions, I trailered my buddy's bikes into your shop, and the "guys" knew about riding around, and breaking down. The shop got both guys back on the road to same day. It's courtiesy to travellers, and I take pride that the shop that I" ride out of", knows about getting back on the road.
Recently, I burned a cam bearing on a twin cam, and the shop did the warranty reapir, but encouraged me to build up the motor a little with cams, cam drive, intake, re-map, and pipes. They atated a lot of the labor is already covered and we have an opportunity "here", while we are "in the motor" anyway. I got a nice hop up, and really love the added performance. Of course, your bottom line is an extra $1600 for a nice sales job from your staff. They really take an interest in the customer, and his bike.
I wanted fish tail mufflers, and the staffer tracked down after market touring (quiet) mufflers for me.
I am on a first name basis with Carlos, and Raul. On one occasin, I had a question about the bike repair. They tracked the specific mechainc, and he answered my question about my bike, and the repair. The mechainc remembered my bike specifically, and it just wasn't "another bike that he had worked on theat week".
Previously, I had ridden out of a independant shop in San Angelo. I felt I had to go that far to get the level of service that I wanted as a serious life-time rider. I didn't want to ride out of a "boutique" shop.
I appreciate the customer appreciation events, and also know that the shop is a "location" on weekends.
The sales staff is over the top also. I used to ride a Sprotster, and really liked some of the new improvements. I casually mentioned this to one of the sales staff, and they latter contacted me to see, if I had thought about it anymore. I decided that I really didn't need another bike right now, but appreciated their efforts.
When a buddy wanted a Harley, I carried him into the shop, and he rode out on a bike. You got a sale, but I got a new riding buddy.
I wear one of your "dealership" patches on my back showing the dealership that I support, and "ride out of".

"First off let me say may the good Lord above bless Caliente in a way that it will always be a light to all who come there! Me and my wife have never really done a lot of riding. I heard from some of my co-workers of how much fun the hill country is to ride. So I booked a motel in San Antonio. Here we come we ride up on Friday spend the night, get up the next morning pull up Internet for HD dealerships. We like to buy shirts from them when we travel, and look there is one on the way to Bandera and it's name is Caliente HD so we stop got shirts and I over heard one of the sales lady's telling a customer y'all were open on Sunday. So here we go we are off riding and loving it! it is awesome riding, the day ends we go to our motel next day we are headed home Sunday morning.We take our time we want to do lunch in Clear Springs. So here we go we our headed down I 35 in the fast lane and our ultra stopped running we pull over called HOG got road side help. I told the lady I wanted a ride to the house, I did not have that kind of green backs. We called home and our daughter answered the phone told her what had happened. So she got Caliente's phone # and called your service department. She told them her daddy was broke down on the side of the road and needed help! They told her if we could get our Ultra to them be for they closed they would look at her and see if they could fix her right now or figure out what her problem was and fix it the next day (due to what parts she would need) We got there at two o-clock, check her in, they wrote her up. Then one of your new techs looked at her, he went to work and we went back in to your store where we stared talking to your service manager (this is one God fearing man). We talked about your store and the people in it. Then we started talking about the Lord and how good He is to us. See what you don't know is God the father had his hand on us the whole time. We were led to your store by Him! He wanted us to meet some of the God fearing people you have there. So we are talking to your service manager and there is a peace over us. The Service Writer came in and told your Manager we were ready to go. I Was surprised they had fixed it so quickly. Come to fine out we had some work done on her at our home town HD and they got in a hurry and the gas line came off. The tech could hear this when he looked at her. I was standing there when he made this comment. It was 3:45 when we were told she was ready. Your staff washed her, topped off our gas tank, prayed with us for a safe trip home, for one of the techs there and that Caliente would always be a blessing on all who come there and that the The Good Lord will bless Caliente with abundance. Oh I did not tell you we were over three hours from home. So in conclusion we love that God the Father has a place where you can come in, buy shirts get your bike worked on(or buy a new one) meet great people, sit down rest your feet and most of all meet more God fearing Christian's. We don't get out often but Caliente is on our way wherever we go! I hope to buy a new bike in 2010 and I will be calling Caliente. Love ybic Preacher"

I have had minor issue with Service but nothing that would keep me from this dealership. "My wife and I were on the rode after a 4,000.00 mile trip and as we got close to San Antonio we started running on one cylindar. Normally i do my own work but as I started working with (the service) staff I was so impresssed with him that I decided to leave my bike with them for the needed work. Keep in mind this was no small thing as I live 200 miles away and could have rented a uhaul for very little money to take my baby home and do it myself or take it to my local shope where I could have used the $600 in credits and gift cards to do the work. As it turned out I am very happy that I took him up on the loaner/rent bike and the extra trip back and forth to houston and in fact when I buy the next new bike this will be the first place I shop all due to the outstanding way a customer is treated at Caliente harley. I have been on the road now for 42 years and have never been treated better"

"On a recent road trip I made a pitstop at your store and was looking for some extra gear for my trip to the westcoast. In the parts department I come in touch with James. Comes to find out I was stationed with him when deployed to Iraq. "i really wasnt a fan of your store at firstbut after going a few times for parts and advice on working on my bike by the way its a 2002 fxd tricked out any which way it could be lol...but anyway after talking to your parts guys a while some of them ... they know where to look for answers ....but one in paticular is I think his name is eddie looks kinda like "cheech marin"
but he really knows his bikes and parts and little tricks that only someone who has been around or worked on harley's a while actually knows he's been extremely helpful in trouble shooting diffrent problems i've had with bikes he's a real go to guy in your shop and should definitley be praised.

"Needed a new rear tire for my '88 Heritage Softtail. Called ...(another local dealer). After I had placed the order for my tire, he tells me that I will have to COME THERE and pay for it BEFORE he can even order it (no credit card payment by phone). I cancelled the order.
Next, I called Caliente. Your parts department took excellent care of me and when I told him that I would be bringing the bike to y'all to put the tire on, he did not even require a deposit on the tire. So far, so good. Tire came in when promised, I made a service appointment for the next day. My tire was changed, my oil was changed, my throttle adjuster knob was replaced and my handlebar grips were replaced AND they even gave her a bath (she needed it)!! And all this was done within a reasonable time frame (since I was waiting for it). All in all, I was TOTALLY satisfied with my experience from beginning to end. Your store is quite a drive from where we are currently living ..., but I expect we will make the dirve to do our Harley business with y'all as long as we are in the San Antonio area. Thanks again, you have proved to me that your dealership really is all about customer service.

Because of credit issues and the way the finance numbers ended up being, I was forced to go elsewhere to purchase my FatBoy. I have no complaints regarding my selling dealer. My only regret is I was unable to buy from Caliente. Since my purchase, I have bee back to Caliente many times to purchase accessories and merchandise and I am planning on several modifications to my bike with your parts and service departments. "First off let me say that one of the best things to happen in San Antonio lately is a new Harley dealership. I have purchased several Harley's. I was very excited when I noticed the new dealership being built. Once the Caliente dealership opened I went in to look around. I was impressed with the store layout, the numerous different models of bikes on display, the friendly staff, and on and on. In fact I was so impressed I decided to purchase my 2007 FLSTC at the dealership. Just like all my other experiences at the dealership the buying experience was second to none.
One of the best judges of a dealership is how a customer is treated after the sale. I quickly found out the service department is superior not only in the work they do but also in making sure the customer is completely satisfied. I had purchased some accessories for my Softail and tried installing one of the electrical items myself. To make a long story short I cut a few wires which probably should not have been cut. I took my bike in to have the service department correct my mistakes. Once it was in for the service I was told some connectors would have to be ordered to correct the mistakes I had made. They informed me it would take 5-7 days for the items to come in since they had to be ordered. Well it took longer than the stated 5-7 days and I went to the dealership and talked to the Dave the Service Manager.
Well anyone who loves to ride knows it is hard to be without your bike for any amount of time. I explained this to Dave and without hesitation he said he would work with me to make me a satisfied customer. Let me tell you that is exactly what he did. Ron, one of the Service Technicians, contacted Alamo City H-D and they had the parts needed for my bike. He said he would go over and pick them up himself. I later found out that it was actually Ron's afternoon to be off. But instead Ron went across town to get the parts needed so my bike would be ready the following morning.
The next day I received a call stating my bike was ready to pick up. When I arrived and went to pay the bill I noticed Dave, the Service Manager, had taken off $150.00 in labor. Now he didn't have to do this but to keep a customer satisfied he did. I can't say enough good things about Caliente. There are alot of dealerships you can give your business too. But if you want great service before and after the sale you need to go to Caliente first. I promise they will make you happy. They treated me right and I know they will do the same for anyone else. I can also promise you they will treat your bike as if it belonged to you. Check them out and you will be as happy as I am. Thanks Caliente...

"All you bikers, and want to be bikers. Caliente has the real deal going. If you want a no nonsense deal with no false promises and cheap giveaways just to make the sale this is your place. I won't mention the owners names here, but I'll tell you that long before the site was even picked, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners and were treated like family, and that has continued. The owners took us for a walk through where they met my extended family. To this day, they have never forgotten one name, and still addresses them as such. Now I'd expect that from myself, and my wife because we got to know each other, and spend a lot of time there, but to remember names from people they may have met once is very impressive. They may not do what other dealers do, by giving you helmets, shirts etc. But what you get is more important. People that CARE. Those free shirts and helmets aren't going to do you any good if your bike starts to make a rattling noise. Instead you get guaranteed professional service, attention, and generally people who know how they would feel if they were in your shoes. And that makes them good. Real good. I'll stake my over 30 years of riding credibility who has come to know many riders over this period. This Staff is hand picked, and I beleive that if the line isn't towed there will be changes. Rick (G.M) is on top of all goings on. All I can say, coming from the Harley's of the 70's, including I hate to admit, the AMF days to now, and YES no matter what anybody says, you could buy a Harley in S.A long before the 80's, unless mine fell from the sky. Before Caliente everybody around here especially the youngsters got used to sealing their bike deals with a free helmet t-shirt or whatever, instead of looking at the big picture which is the long haul. Caliente is straight forward, and it's all about the bike. They are now my Harley family, and we trust family, and now I implore you to trust them too. Trust is something you earn. Give them a chance, you won't regret it, all this said and I haven't even mentioned the beatiful facility, and fun they provide. And you know what? They do offer perks. Buy a bike and you'll find out. It just happens to be of a greater value, and something you can really use. "

"I have to start by saying I’m new to the (Harley) experience. I have owned my bike, and have been riding for only two years. I have however visited several dealerships, and must admit I felt like an outsider. Not only am I a new bike owner, I'm also very new to San Antonio. My family and I just moved here from Guam. Driving around to learn the area we happened upon Caliente HD. I of course wanted to stop in and being in a colder climate thought it would be wise to purchase a riding Jacket (for protection as well). I had no clue as to what product would best fit my needs so I went in expecting the cold shoulder and having to figure things out for myself. I asked a sales rep on what their recommendation would be to fit my needs. I was then directed to Susan, a very helpful lady from Tennessee (where I was raised). I told her what I wanted and she took me right to the jacket I needed! (Even had to order one for me in the right size.) I was extremely happy with my visit. Customer service was the best I have experienced at any HD! (To include the dealership where I purchased my bike). I know I will be here in San Antonio for a long time and well it’s nice to know I have a second home for my bike and all its needs, and service with a smile! Thanks Caliente HD for everything! "After watching the dealership being built for many months I was hoping that it would not be "just another Harley dealership" in the San Antonio area. Over the past few years I have become disinchanted with the Motor company because of the dealership experiances here in San Antonio. So, when I need to get my bike in for service I decided to try out the dealership and see what it had to offer. Honestly I wasn't expecting much other than the "we can get you in next week" routine that I've been getting. I must say, I was amazed when your service person asked if I would like to leave the bike with him. "Now?" I said. "If you would like I can try and fit the bike in here in the next hour or so, and should have it back to you before noon." Not only did they get it in but they treated me like a person, not just another sale. I greatly appreciate your hard work, and the work you doing to keep up the great name of Harley Davidson. When I do decided to trade in my motorcycle and purchase a new one, don't tell my wife, I will by it from Caliente."

First off let me say your store is AWESOME, love the set up, love the bikes, love the clothes! But i think i was most impressed with the great customer service I received from the girls. I don't think I've ever been treated so courteously, the girls were all so patient and helpful -- and let me tell you, i do ALOT of shopping and have dealt with MANY salesgirls.
