"Needed a new rear tire for my '88 Heritage Softtail. Called ...(another local dealer). After I had placed the order for my tire, he tells me that I will have to COME THERE and pay for it BEFORE he can even order it (no credit card payment by phone). I cancelled the order. Next, I called Caliente. Your parts department took excellent care of me and when I told him that I would be bringing the bike to y'all to put the tire on, he did not even require a deposit on the tire. So far, so good. Tire came in when promised, I made a service appointment for the next day. My tire was changed, my oil was changed, my throttle adjuster knob was replaced and my handlebar grips were replaced AND they even gave her a bath (she needed it)!! And all this was done within a reasonable time frame (since I was waiting for it). All in all, I was TOTALLY satisfied with my experience from beginning to end. Your store is quite a drive from where we are currently living ..., but I expect we will make the dirve to do our Harley business with y'all as long as we are in the San Antonio area. "First of all let me say your salesman Ray is the most attentive, receptive and respectable guy that I have ever bought a vehicle from. Notice I said vehicle. I have purchased several other modes of transportation, but never have I had such a wonderful experince going thru the purchase process as I did with Ray and the finance department here at Caleinte. Hell, he even called me the day after my b-day to remind me about my free t-shirt that quite honestly I had forgotten about. We can always go and find exactly what we need and always get great customer service when we come in, we know most of the employees so its like we are shopping with family. We prefer Caliente over (others) only because the selection of bikes and accesories is more and the prices, there is no comparison. Caliente also has a better variety in motorclothes and with larger sizes for real size women and men. We love this store and have made all our Harley- Davidson purchases at Caliente since it opened. "Recently, I decided I wanted to trade my 2005 Honda VTX and look into purchasing a 2007 FatBoy. After shopping at several dealerships, I visited Caliente H.D. Because of credit issues and the way the finance numbers ended up being, I was forced to go elsewhere to purchase my FatBoy. I have no complaints regarding my selling dealer. My only regret is I was unable to buy from Caliente. Since my purchase, I have bee back to Caliente many times to purchase accessories and merchandise and I am planning on several modifications to my bike with your parts and service departments. "First off let me say that one of the best things to happen in San Antonio lately is a new Harley dealership. I have purchased several Harley's. I was very excited when I noticed the new dealership being built. Once the Caliente dealership opened I went in to look around. I was impressed with the store layout, the numerous different models of bikes on display, the friendly staff, and on and on. In fact I was so impressed I decided to purchase my 2007 FLSTC at the dealership. Just like all my other experiences at the dealership the buying experience was second to none. One of the best judges of a dealership is how a customer is treated after the sale. I quickly found out the service department is superior not only in the work they do but also in making sure the customer is completely satisfied. I had purchased some accessories for my Softail and tried installing one of the electrical items myself. To make a long story short I cut a few wires which probably should not have been cut. I took my bike in to have the service department correct my mistakes. Once it was in for the service I was told some connectors would have to be ordered to correct the mistakes I had made. They informed me it would take 5-7 days for the items to come in since they had to be ordered. Well it took longer than the stated 5-7 days and I went to the dealership and talked to the Dave the Service Manager. Well anyone who loves to ride knows it is hard to be without your bike for any amount of time. I explained this to Dave and without hesitation he said he would work with me to make me a satisfied customer. Let me tell you that is exactly what he did. Ron, one of the Service Technicians, contacted Alamo City H-D and they had the parts needed for my bike. He said he would go over and pick them up himself. I later found out that it was actually Ron's afternoon to be off. But instead Ron went across town to get the parts needed so my bike would be ready the following morning. The next day I received a call stating my bike was ready to pick up. When I arrived and went to pay the bill I noticed Dave, the Service Manager, had taken off $150.00 in labor. Now he didn't have to do this but to keep a customer satisfied he did. I can't say enough good things about Caliente. There are alot of dealerships you can give your business too. But if you want great service before and after the sale you need to go to Caliente first. I promise they will make you happy. They treated me right and I know they will do the same for anyone else. I can also promise you they will treat your bike as if it belonged to you. Check them out and you will be as happy as I am. Thanks Caliente... Dave Coulter "
